Deerhoof have shared a song from their next album, Breakup Song. For someone like myself that was won over by them back in the mid 90s, seeing them play magically ragged sets in warehouses around the bay area, this new track is exciting. Combing both the slickness of their more recent output with raw textures and quick arrangement changes, “The Trouble With Candyhands” is definitely my favorite Deerhoof track in ages. I’m excited to hear the whole thing!
